Tolsia tops Mingo Central
FORT GAY, W.Va. -- Tolsia posted a 53-41 victory over Mingo Central in the Class AA, Region IV, Section 2 girls basketball semifinals Wednesday.
Krista Maynard had a double-double for the Rebels with 21 points and 11 rebounds.
Jordan Presley added 18 points and seven steals while Savannah Winnett had 10 points.
Mingot Central was led by Ashley Curry with 11 points.
Tolsia and Scott meet at 7 p.m., Friday, in the Logan Fieldhouse for the section championship.
