Ratcliff's putback lifts Spring Valley

PRINCETON -- Jordan Ratcliff had a put-back at the buzzer that lifted Spring Valley over Princeton in high school girls basketball action on Friday night.

The Timberwolves were led by Cassidy Lemons, who had a career high 17 points with five 3-pointers.

Princeton was led by Marshall signee Mackenzie Akers, who had 37.

Spring Valley moves to 8-2 on the season with the win, and next plays at home Monday against George Washington.

LINCOLN COUNTY 49, POINT PLEASANT 43: Taylor Lucas and Kerbi Slone each hit double-figures to lead the Panthers to their second win of the season.

Lucas finished with 11 points while Slone had 10 for Lincoln County (2-11).

Nelson led Grace Christian with 32 points while Burdette had 30 for Elk Valley.

Grace Christian moves to 6-2 on the season with the win.
