Huntington High wins at St. Albans

ST. ALBANS, W.Va. -- Class AAA No. 9 Huntington High recorded a 61-44 boys basketball victory Tuesday at St. Albans.

Huntington High (12-4) was led by Arick Nicks, who scored 24 and had 9 rebounds. Tavian Dunn-Martin added 8 points and 7 assists, and Chancelor Wooding had 14 points.

St. Albans (4-12), was led by Ethan McNeil with 19 points.

HUNTINGTON 11 18 14 18 -- 61: Miller 9, Tubbs 1, Nicks 24, Dunn-Martin 8, Washington 2, Wooding 14, Demoss 3.

ST. ALBANS 9 16 13 6 -- 44: Clark 9, Young 3, Carter 2, Watkins 9, McNeil 19, Aliff 2.

FAIRLAND 54, MEIGS 39: Nathan Campbell had 15 points, three steals, seven assists and eight rebounds for the Dragons (14-4).

Evan Maddox scored 13.

Trimble (8-11) had double-figure scoring from Mike Couch (14), Wyatt Bragg (11), Conner Standley (10) and Austin Downs (10).
