Wahama downs Buffalo

MASON, W.Va. -- Wahama downed Buffalo, 41-13, Friday night in a football match of Class A top 10 teams in the state ratings.

No. 3 Wahama (10-0) was led by Zack Wamsley who ran for 177 yards and two touchdowns. Kane Roush returned a kickoff 85 yards for a score.

No. 10 Buffalo finished the regular season with a 7-3 record.

Bison quarterback Levi Jordan ran for one touchdown and completed a screen pass to Jordan Tucker for another score.

Poca (2-8) cut the deficit to 13-6 at halftime on Hayden Bailey's 1-yard TD.

The Rebels stretched it out in the second half. Dawson Presley scored on a 5-yard run and sealed the victory with fourth-quarter TD runs of 6 and 2 yards.
