Buffalo beats St. Joe in sectional, 5-4
BUFFALO, W.Va. -- Dakota Briscoe hit a bases-loaded single in the bottom of the eighth inning Tuesday, giving Buffalo a 5-4 victory over Huntington St. Joe in the first game of the Class A, Region IV, Section 4 baseball tournament.
Buffalo (11-12), which blistered the Irish 25-2 in their regular-season meeting, was held hitless through four innings and didn't lead until Briscoe's walk-off single that scored Levi Jordan.

The Bison will play again Wednesday in the double-elimination format.
