Rock Hill tops Fairland, wins OVC

PROCTORVILLE, Ohio -- Rock Hill claimed the Ohio Valley Conference baseball championship Wednesday with a 3-1 victory at Fairland.

Jonathan Joseph pitched a two-hitter for the Redmen. Joseph and Evan Morris both had doubles.

Kyle Raines was a hard-luck loser for the Dragons after allowing just five hits. Kyle Sowards of the Dragons was 2-for-2 with a double.

Fairland (11-9) finishes the regular season Friday at South Point.
