Grace opens soccer season with a win
ELKVIEW, W.Va. -- Grace Chrisian School of Huntington opened its boys soccer season Friday with an 8-2 victory at Elk Valley Christian.
J.P. Perry and Devon Selbee both recorded three-goal hat tricks and Peter Vanmaasdam added a pair of goals.

BARBOURSVILLE -- Five matches were played Friday in the North-South Tournament at Barboursville Community Park.
Cabell Midland defeated Robert C. Byrd, 2-1. Spring Valley tied with Fairmont Senior, 1-1.
George Washington downed Huntington High (3-1), Winfield knocked off Wheeling Park (2-0) and South Charleston beat Brooke (4-1).
The tournament continues today. Admission is free.
