Point Pleasant beats Chapmanville, 48-20

CHAPMANVILLE, W.Va. -- Point Pleasant dominated Chapmanville, 48-20, in a Friday night football game.

Point Pleasant had 468 total yards. The Big Blacks scored touchdowns on seven of nine possessions.

Nathan Roberts rushed 23 times for 265 yards and three touchdowns. Chris Blankenship had nine carries, 48 yards, and one score while Jerrod Long carried eight times for 32 yards and one TD.

Eric Roberts threw a pair of touchdown passes, one to his brother, Nathan, for 65 yards and one to Toby Martin of 6 yards.

Chapmanville back Todd Terry rushed for 114 yards.

Point Pleasant (7-3) ended the regular season on a five-game winning streak and moves into the Class AA playoffs. Chapmanville is 6-4.
