Logan High School about to get new basketball coach

The Herald-Dispatch

HUNTINGTON - Father is taking over for son as the Logan High School boys basketball head coach.

Mark Hatcher resigned as coach of the Wildcats, having received a promotion in the medical field. Time demands led to his decision to leave coaching. Allan Hatcher, Mark's father, told the Logan Banner newspaper that he'll be on the Logan bench come the 2015-16 season. The elder Hatcher comes over from Chapmanville High School, where he'd been coach the past three years. The Tigers reached the state tournament in 2014, a first for the school.
