Irish come up big on Day 2 of state tennis tournament

CHARLESTON - Huntington St. Joe's tennis team experiences less pressure than a New England Patriots' football.

That's exactly how Irish coach David Neff and his players like it as they head to the Class AA-A finals of the state tournament Saturday on the Schoenbaum Courts at the Kanawha City Tennis Center in first place. St. Joe is in a strong position to win the girls title, with a four-point lead over second-place Parkersburg Catholic, and has a chance on the boys side.
