Head2Head

While Western Kentucky's Brandon Doughty is statistically one of the country's top passers in yards, Marshall's Rakeem Cato is the likely frontrunner for C-USA Most Valuable Player based off his ability to read the opposition and get his team into the right set. Cato is the elite in the conference, engineering one of the nation's most balanced offenses. Doughty isn't far behind, though.

5 Points to Ponder

Forget the fact that it is the top two scoring offenses in Conference USA. Those units don't go head-to-head against each other. Instead, focus in on the most fun matchup to see: Marshall's top-ranked defense against Western Kentucky's high-powered offense. To put it in perspective, Western Kentucky is throwing for more yards (351.3 yards per game) than Marshall is allowing total (324.4 yards per game).
