Herd halts skid, tops Tulane 63-44
HUNTINGTON — The Marshall Thundering Herd men’s basketball team stopped a four-game free-fall Wednesday, beating Tulane soundly, 63-44, at the Cam Henderson Center.
This is the day.

Perception isn't reality in recruiting. Football coaches and other athletic aficionados are keenly aware of that. But fan bases, recruiting services and so-called experts who assess class rankings? They're all about the glitz, the blue-chips and how many stars a prospect has twinkling on his recruiting resume.
Marshall has nine games left to play in the Conference USA men's basketball regular season and five of them are against teams below the Thundering Herd in the standings.
