Kevin Grooms

Grooms finished with a career-high 155 yards on 21 carries, including an electrifying 69-yard touchdown run in the second quarter.

Defense

Jermaine Holmes

Holmes finished with 16 tackles -- nine in the second half -- to continue his strong play at linebacker.

Special teams

Justin Haig

Haig's career-long 45-yard field goal won the game for the Herd and was one of three field goals for him on the day. He also had a touchdown-saving tackle on a kickoff.
