Herd's Ferguson 2nd in Miami swim meet
OXFORD, Ohio -- Kelsey Ferguson from Marshall University placed second Saturday in the 200-yard breaststroke C-Final at the Miami (Ohio) Invitational. The freshman had a personal best time of 2:27.50.
Sarah Kay took fifth place in the 100 butterfly B-Final with a personal best 57.53 seconds. Kay also placed third in the 200 buttefly A-Final on Friday (2:03.03).
Marshall diver Lauren Rone finished seventh.
Sophomore Kacey Preun posted the second-fastest time in school history Thursday and placed third in the 1,650 freestyle (16:56.76).
