OFFENSE: C - Yes, it produced 41 points for Marshall. But it also created 14 points for Purdue.
DEFENSE: F - It got better in the second half, but Purdue's offense also lost focus and let down after intermission.
SPECIAL TEAMS: C- - It blocked a punt and a PAT while scoring a TD, but struggled in every other phase.
COACHING: D - The defense simply isn't getting better. That must be addressed.
OVERALL: C - Yes, the Herd was competitive. But this game was winnable with better defense.
