KENOVA — Police are searching for a man who escaped from police custody today. Kenova Police took Marcle Glenn Jenkins in custody today after two burglaries on Barger Hill overnight. Police say he escaped custody through a window in a police vehicle. He was wearing camouflage pants and a white muscle shirt. He was handcuffed in front of his body.

Marshall baseball rained out

HUNTINGTON — Marshall and Delaware State were rained out of their baseball game Friday at the YMCA Kennedy Center field.

The 2:30 p.m. field dedication ceremony will take place.

Marshall and Delaware State will attempt to play Saturday at the field on W.Va. 2 upriver from Huntington.

Saturday's doubleheader will be a nine-inning game beginning at noon followed by a seven-inning contest.

Admission is free.
