Steele calls Herd 'most-improved'

HUNTINGTON -- Phil Steele's College Football Preview is high on the Marshall Thundering Herd.

An early preview of Steele's publication on www.philsteele.com has Marshall forecast as the No. 38 team in the nation. The annual magazine hits newsstands June 18.

Steele also gave Marshall "the elite designation of my No. 1 Most Improved Team in the country."

Marshall also had 16 players on Steele's Preseason All-Conference USA team, including a league-high seven on the first team.
