Marshall signs 7 to play baseball

HUNTINGTON -- Marshall's Thundering Herd baseball team has seven players signed in the 2013-14 recruiting class.

The recruits are:

Travis Wildermuth, catcher, Marietta (Ga.) H.S., 6-foot-2, 205 pounds.

Ryan Bickford, right-handed pitcher, Cosby H.S., Moseley, Va., 6-1, 190.

Brenden Wells, outfielder, West Branch H.S., Beloit, Ohio, 5-10, 195.

Spencer Lacovone, infielder/outfielder, Moeller H.S., Cincinnati, 6-2, 215.

Corey Bird, outfielder, Herbert Hoover H.S., Elkview, W.Va., 6-foot, 165.

Jesse Pintado, catcher/infielder, Miami Dade C.C., Miami, 6-foot, 180.

Brandon Romero, infielder, Ronald Reagan H.S., Miami, 5-8, 165.
