MU women's golf announces signings
HUNTINGTON -- Marshall University women's golf coach Meredith Knight-Rowsey announced the signings of Ashley DeMoss and Gabrielle Marcum.
DeMoss helped Fox Chapel High School in Pittsburgh, Pa., win the Pennsylvania Bi-State championship as a junior. Last summer she won a Plantations Junior Golf Tour event and was the runner-up at the Western Pennsylvania Girls Junior Golf Championship.
Marcum won the 2012 Ohio Girls Junior Championship. She was an All-Greater Western Ohio Conference player at Beavercreek High School.
"One of the things that excited me about Gabby and Ashley is not only their amount of experience playing competitive golf, but their drive to play at the highest level," Knight-Rowsey said.
