Marshall basketball gets early commitment
HUNTINGTON — Chase Fischer, a 15-year-old sophomore at Ripley High School, verbally committed to the Marshall University men’s basketball team.
Fischer is in the Class of 2011.
“I don’t think anything can change my mind,” he said.
Playing for the Ripley varsity last season as a freshman, the 6-foot-3 guard averaged about 10 points, six assists and six rebounds a game.
He is playing summer AAU basketball for the Ohio Basketball Club.
