Herd has 26 athletes honored by C-USA

HUNTINGTON -- Marshall had 26 student-athletes receive Conference USA Commissioner's Academic Medals for the 2007-08 school year.

The medals go to student-athletes with a cumulative 3.75 GPA or better.

Marshall women's cross country and swimming and diving teams both earned four medals.

Tulsa had the most academic medal winners with 41 followed by Memphis (38), SMU (37) and East Carolina (36).
