Herd swimming and diving team hosts Ohio
HUNTINGTON -- Ohio visits Marshall's Thundering Herd for a 5 p.m., Tuesday, women's swimming and diving meet in Fitch Natatorium at Cam Henderson Center.
Admission is free.
Sarah Kay and Kacey Preun lead the Herd. Kay has five victories this season in the 200-yard butterfly. Preun's nine victories are spread over six different events including the 1,650-yard freestyle.
First-year Marshall coach Bill Tramel's squad has a 5-4 dual meet record.
Marshall team members participating in their final home meet are Emily Akalski, Vera Niemeyer, Jaimie Holmquist, Lauren Rone, Sarah Coghlin, Arlie Rykosky, Sarah Schimenti and Maribeth Smith.
Ohio's 1-2 record includes a loss to 15th-ranked Ohio State.
