KENOVA — Police are searching for a man who escaped from police custody today. Kenova Police took Marcle Glenn Jenkins in custody today after two burglaries on Barger Hill overnight. Police say he escaped custody through a window in a police vehicle. He was wearing camouflage pants and a white muscle shirt. He was handcuffed in front of his body.

Folden again on C-USA All-Academic softball team

HUNTINGTON -- Rachel Folden from Marshall was a repeat selection on the Conference USA All-Academic softball team.

Conference sports information directors named 11 student-athletes to the team. Eight schools were represented with East Carolina, Houston and UCF each having two players.

The all-academic team consists of student-athletes with a 3.2 cumulative GPA or better that are starters or key reserves for their team.

Folden, a senior, has a 3.33 GPA in History with a Mathematics minor. The Thundering Herd catcher was chosen as the C-USA player of the year.
