Green wins in Herd volleyball scrimmage
HUNTINGTON -- Green beat White, 25-20 25-21, 25-17, in Wednesday evening's Marshall volleyball intra-squad match at Cam Henderson Center.
Emily Sullivan led the Green squad with 13 kills and three assisted blocks.
"I thought our first team (Green) played well in all aspects of the game," head coach Mitch Jacobs said. "Of course Ellen Hayes played a starring role on defense again, but Jessica Dhoore played her best match to date. She was very noticeable on the floor."
Marshall opens the season at 4 p.m. Friday against Tennessee Tech at the Cincinnati Tournament.
