Grant Traylor awards game balls
MU game balls
Smith, the smallest player on the field at 5-foot-7, came up with the biggest play when he caught a jumpball for a 35-yard gain to set up the game-winning field goal.
Holmes finished the game with eight tackles -- seven solo -- while adding an interception and a quarterback hurry.
Haig, a Delray Beach, Fla., native, came in and nailed the game-winning 41-yard field goal as time expired to give the Herd the win.
