November 07, 2009 @ 11:15 PM

HUNTINGTON -- Marshall senior volleyball players Kristin Marcum and Emily Sullivan will be recognized at their final home match Sunday.

Marshall plays Memphis at 1 p.m. in Cam Henderson Center. Admission is free.

"These two players (Marcum and Sullivan) have won a (conference regular season) championship, busted their butts and they have brilliantly represented the Herd both academically and athletically as daughters of Marshall," Marshall coach Mitch Jacobs said. "Please come out and support them on senior day."

Marshall beat UAB on Friday, 3-0, to reach 20 wins for the seventh time in eight seasons. The Thundering Herd is 20-7 overall and 8-5 in the conference.

Memphis won Friday at East Carolina, 3-1. The Tigers improved to 7-22 for the season and 3-11 in C-USA.
