National audience sees MU team race

PHILADELPHIA - Marshall's 4x200 relay team got some air time Saturday on national TV.

Kametra Byrd, Shanice Johnson, Naja Greer and Isatu Fofanah competed in the 4x200 Championship of America Invitational in the Penn Relays televised by NBC Sports Network. The four turned in a school-record time 1:36.49, but came in ninth. They won their heat Friday (1:37.71). UTech won the race (1:30.80). Texas A&M was second followed by LSU, Duke, G.C. Foster, Penn State, Indiana Tech and Northern Illinois.
