July 23, 2010 @ 12:00 AM

HUNTINGTON -- PGA Tour players have until 5 p.m., Friday, to officially commit to The Greenbrier Classic.

Pre-tournament activities begin Monday and the main event is Thursday, July 29, through Sunday, Aug. 1, on the Old White course at The Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, W.Va.

So far, no word on whether Tiger Woods or Phil Mickelson are coming, but players reportedly committed include Jim Furyk, Kenny Perry, Sergio Garcia, John Daly, David Duval, Ricky Barnes, Davis Love, Justin Leonard, Angel Cabrera and Andres Romero.

An exemption from the Tri-State PGA was given to Barry Evans, the golf professional at Berry Hills Country Club in Charleston. Evans earned the honor by winning the Tri-State PGA section championship in August 2009.

West Virginia Amateur champion Jonathan Bartlett also received an invitation.

Seven levels of weekly tournament badges for spectators are available from $49 to $5,000.

Badges can be purchased through Ticketmaster, Live Nation, at all Kroger stores and United Bank branches throughout the state or at the official tournament website, www.greenbrierclassic.com.

Spectators should be aware that there is no tournament parking at The Greenbrier. Spectator parking is available at the State Fair Grounds in nearby Fairlea ($10 daily) and shuttles will transport people to the tournament.
