Tulsa win C-USA volleyball title

TULSA, Okla. -- Tulsa defeat UCF 3-0 Sunday to win the Conference USA Volleyball championship and secure the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. The Golden Hurricane prevailed 25-15, 25-19, 25-17. It's the second league title for Tulsa. The first came in 2007.

C-USA Player of the Year Tyler Henderson led the attack with 20 kills on 32 attempts. The senior outside hitter hit .500 over the three sets, only making four errors, and had three digs and three blocks. C-USA Libero of the Year Jessica Adams tallied a match-best 17 digs. Ashley Gialenios and senior Tory McCutcheon led the Knights withseven kills each.
