Volleyball clinic scheduled for July 26

WINFIELD -- Girls in fourth through ninth grades are invited to a one-day volleyball clinic, hosted by the Charleston Volleyball Club and sponsored by the Winfield Volleyball Boosters Club, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 26 at the Winfield High School gym.

The clinic is geared toward athletes wanting a "tune-up" before the season begins, those who want to hone skills learned previously, or beginners who just want to learn the sport.

Cost is $25 per player, lunch included.

Registration is required by Monday, July 21. Call 304-757-7464.

 

Youth football camp starts July 24

WINFIELD -- The Winfield High School football staff and boosters will host a 5-Star General Youth Football Camp for students in grades three through eight, from 5-8 p.m. July 24 and 25.

Cost is $25. Instruction is position- and age-specific. Call Coach Wilson at 304-544-7427 to register.
