C-K Post 93 falls to Beckley Post 32

HUNTINGTON -- Beckley Post 32 rallied from four runs down Tuesday and Bryan Hughes hit a grand slam home run in the 10th inning of a 16-12 win over Ceredo-Kenova Post 93 in the American Legion baseball Area 3 tournament.

Markus DeLung drove in the go-ahead run with a single before Hughes' blast gave Beckley more than enough cushion.

Douglas Poe got the win after working four innings of relief.

Jeremy Buchanan added a three-run homer for Post 32.

Beckley will travel to play Kanawha Valley Post 94 at 6 p.m. today at South Charleston High School.

C-K will play host to Parkersburg Post 15 in an elimination game.
