Winners announced for Great Teays 5-K Run

HURRICANE -- Dozens of of runners pounded the pavement on a hot, humid summer day during the 33rd Annual Great Teays 5-K Run and the Gene Fuller 1-Mile Walk on Saturday at Valley Park in Hurricane.

Below are the winners and their times:

Top male runners

  • 1st: David Bias, 16:13
  • 2nd: David McCollam, 16:19
  • 3rd: Chuck Wentz, 16:37

    • Top female runners

  • 1st: Kat Alcorn, 19:16
  • 2nd: Alex Dent, 19:50
  • 3rd: Josie Crouch, 21:18

    • Gene Fuller 1-Mile Award Winner

  • Kelly McGraw

    • Joel Varian Award
