Pena will be last Marshall player to wear No. 10
Marshall retired No. 10 to honor former player Mike D'Antoni and he gave the OK for Pena to finish his career in that number.
D'Antoni, NBA head coach of the New York Knicks, played for Marshall from 1970 to 1973. He was the point guard in 1972 when Marshall was ranked 10th in the nation.
Pena is a sophomore guard.
PLAYER POTENTIAL: From the dictionary of Donnie Jones, head coach of the Marshall University men's basketball team, comes a definition of the word "potential."
"It means they (players) haven't gotten there yet," Jones said.
