Chilly Pro Day for Marshall seniors
HUNTINGTON -- Marshall University's senior football players performed for scouts from the NFL and CFL Wednesday during The Thundering Herd's Pro Day at Joan C. Edwards Stadium.
The players participated in a variety of drills, including the 40-yard dash, cone drills, bench press and vertical leap, among others, while scouts looked on.
Pro Day allows scouts to evaluate players for the NFL Draft, as well as for possible free agent signings after the draft.
Among the teams who attended were representatives from the Cleveland Browns, Kansas City Chiefs and British Columbia Lions.
Most of the workout took place outside, despite rainy, windy weather.
