9 MU basketball games to be televised

HUNTINGTON -- At least nine Marshall University men's basketball games this season will be televised.

The TV lineup:

Comcast Sports Southeast, which is Huntington cable Ch. 68, will telecast the Jan. 23 game at Southern Miss, the Feb. 2 home game with UCF and a March 2 game at Houston.

CBS Sports Network (Huntington Ch. 174) will have the Dec. 15 game against Cincinnati in Charleston, the Feb. 16 home game with Memphis and the March 5 home game against Southern Miss.

Marshall's game Jan. 26 at Memphis will on Fox Sports Net.

Marshall at Kentucky on Dec. 22 will be shown on ESPN2.

The Marshall-West Virginia game Dec. 5 in Charleston will be on the Capital Classic Network.

Marshall also will have ESPN3.com live streaming of its Nov. 11 game at Villanova.

Additional television games could be announced later. Tip-off times for all games were announced Tuesday, but are subject to change.

The season ticket renewal deadline is Wednesday, Oct. 3, at 5 p.m.

Season tickets can be renewed at the Cam Henderson Center box office, at www.HerdZone.com or by telephone at 304-696-4373 or 800-THE-HERD. Season tickets not renewed by the deadline will become available to other season ticket holders and Big Green Scholarship Foundation members in priority point order.

All reserved season tickets not renewed or purchased will become available to the public Oct. 12 at Thundering Herd Madness.
