Teays Physical Therapy Center, Inc. and the Putnam Herald are pleased to present this week's "Gridiron Gamer of the Week" award to Caleb Dunn of Buffalo High School.

The Buffalo High School Bison football team started the season strong with a 32-7 win over Gilbert High School. Caleb Dunn, the Bison's senior leader, was the shining star this week with three interceptions and one receiving touchdown for 33 yards.

When asked about his success he attributed their performance to their hard work and practice the week previous. Caleb said, "We practiced hard last week and we were ready for their spread offense."

Dunn, as well as the rest of the Bison football team, are very excited about their chances this year. When asked why their team was so successful last week he answered, "We hit the weight room hard this summer and came out strong and fast."

We also asked Caleb about his expectations about the team this year and he said without hesitation, "I think we will definitely make the playoffs this year."

The senior is sporting a 4.0 GPA.

When asked who his favorite NFL player was he answered, "Tim Tebow, because he is a leader on and off the field. I try to take control of the defense like he controls the offense."

When Coach Mike Sawyer was asked about Dunn's performance Friday night he said, "He is a leader by example, well mannered, and a hard worker. He will play anywhere you want. If I could compare him to any NFL player I would compare him to Wes Welker. He is not the #1 player on the depth chart, but he does what he needs to do to get the job done."
