Our champions
Tri-State Express 14-Under basketball placed third at the USBA National Tournament in Myrtle Beach after winning the West Virginia championship.
The Fayetteville Stars went on to win the national title after defeating Tri-State Express in the semifinals in overtime. Tri-State Express beat Charlotte Storm Gold, Team Carolina (twice), Capital City Bulls, Charlotte Mad Dawgs and North Carolina Force along the way.
Tri-State Express includes players from Huntington, Ironton, Crum, W.Va., and Kermit, W.Va.
