MARCH 9, 2005 -- Bobby Pruett announced his retirement at Marshall's head football coach. Assistant coach Larry Kueck named as the interim head coach.

APRIL 15, 2005 -- Mark Snyder named as the Marshall head coach.

2005 SEASON -- Overall record 4-7, Conference USA record 3-5.

AUG. 8, 2006 -- Mark Snyder receives a contract extension through 2012-2013.

2006 SEASON -- Overall record 5-7, Conference USA record 4-4.

2007 SEASON -- Overall record 3-9, Conference USA record 3-5.

2008 SEASON -- Overall record 4-8, Conference USA record 3-5.

2009 SEASON -- Overall record 6-6, Conference USA record 4-4.
