Marshall recruit Dobson set to play for Team USA

HUNTINGTON -- Marshall University football recruit Aaron Dobson is on the final 45-player Team USA roster for the International Federation of American Football Junior World Championship.

Dobston is a 6-foot-3, 185-pound receiver from South Charleston High School.

Team USA for the IFAF Junior World Championship in Canton, Ohio, includes players age 19 and younger going to 31 college football programs.

USA Football's Junior National Team is led by head coach Chuck Kyle from Cleveland St. Ignatius High School.

The inaugural tournament June 27 to July 5 will be played at Fawcett Stadium adjacent to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Eight competing teams represent Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Sweden and the United States.

Canada was seeded first and the United States is the second seed.

Team USA plays seventh-seeded France in its first game.
