Huntington High's Lageman joins all-star roster

HUNTINGTON -- J.B. Lageman from Huntington High was selected to play June 21 in the North-South All-Star Football Classic.

The game is played at University of Charleston Stadium.

Lageman is a 6-foot-2, 245-pound lineman.

Wayne players Brett Curtis and Justin Gilkerson are also on the South Cardinals roster. Curtis is a 6-3, 300-pound lineman. Gilkerson, 5-9, 175, plays running back and linebacker.

Hurricane lineman/linebacker Chris Holsopple (6-0, 225) and Tolsia lineman Jordan Moore (6-4, 270) were also selected.

Putnam County's contingent on the South team also includes Winfield kicker Zach Markham (6-0, 160), Poca receiver/defensive back Josh Jenkins (6-2, 190) and Buffalo quarterback/linebacker Nick Harris (6-2, 210).
