Wayne captures sectional crown

FORT GAY, W.Va. -- Wayne claimed the Class AA Region IV, Section 4 baseball title Wednesday with a 13-0 win at Tolsia.

The Pioneers (9-7) will face the Section 3 champion -- Logan, Scott or Chapmanville -- May 19 at Logan in the Region IV semifinals.

Austin Mills retired the first 11 batters he faced until Billy Hall's single for Tolsia (8-9) in the fourth inning.

Larry Bias was 3-for-4 for Wayne with three RBI. Jeremy Chinn was 3-for-3 with two RBI. Joey Ferguson knocked in four.
