WVU basketball opponents named
MORGANTOWN — West Virginia University men’s basketball will face Big East Conference foes Pittsburgh, Seton Hall and Villanova twice during the 2009-10 season.
WvU will play other conference teams once.
Other Big East teams coming to the Coliseum are Cincinnati, Georgetown, Louisville, Marquette, Rutgers and Syracuse.
The Big East announced league opponents and game sites Thursday. Members will play 18-game conference schedules.
A complete conference schedule will be announced at a later date.
WVU’s conference opponents:
Home: Cincinnati, Georgetown, Louisville, Marquette, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Seton Hall, Syracuse, Villanova.
Away: Connecticut, DePaul, Notre Dame, Pittsburgh, Providence, St. John’s, Seton Hall, USF, Villanova.
