Legends beat Thunder in Super Regional

CINCINNATI -- The Indiana Legends defeat the West Virginia Thunder 15u team, 76-73, Sunday in the semifinal round in the AAU Cincinnati Super Regional basketball tournament. The Thunder finished 2-2 overall.

Erin Bailes scored 24 points to lead Thunder against the Legends. Kayla Cook and Rebecca Puckett each added 19.

In game one, the Ohio Lady Jayhawks edged Thunder in overtime, 60-59. Bailes had 23 points and Puckett 15.

Thunder came back to defeat the Indiana Attack, 72-45, behind 18 points from Puckett, 16 from Karissa Adkins and 11 from Cook.

In the championship round, Thunder knocked off the Illinois Crush, 78-65.

Puckett led the way with 20 points, Adkins had 15 and Cook 11.
