Grant Traylor awards game balls
Cato finished the game 30-of-45 for 366 with two scores — one rushing, one passing. He did all he could to keep the Herd in the contest.
Starting in place of Brandon Sparrow, Jarquez Samuel had an excellent game, finishing with nine tackles and spearheading a defensive front that yielded just 64 yards on 36 rushing attempts.
It might’ve only been a 22-yard field goal, but it was the only bright spot on a dismal special teams night.
