HUNTINGTON -- Marshall University second baseman Bri Anna Hope received Conference USA softball Player of the Week recognition.

In the Thundering Herd's 5-1 week, Hope went 8-for-17 with eight RBIs and a 1.059 slugging percentage. She had two doubles, one triple, two home runs and scored six runs.

"It feels great," she said. "I have so many emotions running through me. I feel happy, excited and all types of emotions. It gives me a boost for this weekend coming for Tulsa, not just me, but for my team."
