Arbaugh, Holton lead Panthers past Tigers

HAMLIN, W.Va. -- T.J. Arbaugh and Kenny Holton each had double-doubles to lead Lincoln County past Chapmanville, 51-43, on Tuesday night.

Arbaugh had 24 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. Holton had 10 points and rebounds for the Panthers (2-3).

Lincoln County's next game is Saturday against Pendleton County at the Charleston Civic Center Coliseum.

WAHAMA 61, EASTERN 51: Austin Jordan scored 15 points, Trenton Gibbs 14 and Hunter Bradley to lead the White Falcons (1-2) past Eastern (1-4). Wahama's next game is Friday at Federal Hocking.

Eastern's Max Carnahan led all scorers with 29 points.

SCOTT 80, WAYNE 52: Matt Dolan hit for 21 points to lead five players in double figures as the Skyhawks beat the Pioneers (2-1).

Brett Justice tallied 21 points and Grant Ferguson 14 for Wayne.

Scott opened a 24-8 lead after one period and maintained control the rest of the game.

The Pioneers after one period, are back in action Friday against Sissonville in the Sissonville Tournament.

BOYD COUNTY 67, WEST CARTER 65: Austin Hunt, Brandon Lowe and Grayson Griffith combined for 40 points to lead the Lions (5-3) past the Comets.

Hunt finished with 19 points, Lowe 11 and Griffith 10.

West Carter's Kyle Brown led all scorers with 28 points. Dalton Spurlock contributed 16 points and Jacob Layne 11.

The Lions outscored the visitors 21-14 in the second period and that made the difference.

Boyd County returns to action Friday in the Twins Lakes Holiday Classic at Clinton County High School.

The Lions will face the host school Friday and Iroquois on Saturday.

Alex Rhodes had 12 rebounds for the winners.

Kade McCoy, Paul Holley and Tyler Burns each had 11 points for Hannan.

Calvary Baptist's next game is Friday at Teays Valley Christian.

LOGAN 51, TOLSIA 41: Monica Mitchell tallied 20 points and pulled down 16 rebounds for a double-double to power the Wildcats (4-2) past Tolsia (3-2).

Logan is off until Jan. 4 when Morgantown pays a visit.

Jordan Presley and Savannah Winnett each hit for 14 points for the Rebels.
