Huggins, Holgorsen appear in Charleston

CHARLESTON -- West Virginia University men's basketball coach Bob Huggins and football coach Dana Holgorsen will be at Charleston Dept. Store's west side location, 1661 W. Washington St., Charleston, on Thursday, June 6, from 2 to 4 p.m.

Huggins and Holgorsen will be signing autographs to help raise money for the Norma Mae Huggins Cancer Foundation.

Admission is free and people are allowed two outside items per coach to be signed -- a total of four items only -- at a cost of $10 per item.

Charleston Dept. Store will have merchandise on sale to be autographed.

Raffle tickets will be sold for a signed WVU Computer Chair donated by the store. Tickets are $5 each or five for $20. The winner will be announced Aug. 24 at a season kickoff event.

Adkins shoots age in low round at Sugarwood

LAVALETTE -- Bill Adkins, 71, shot his age Tuesday in a round at Sugarwood Golf Club. The witnesses were Dennis Dillon, Jack Allen and Kenny Childers.
