HHS boys fall to Princeton

PRINCETON, W.Va. -- Princeton rallied from a 16-point deficit to beat Huntington High, 67-60, in a Tuesday boys basketball game.

Class AAA No. 6 Princeton (8-1) spotted the 10th-rated Highlanders (5-2) an early 26-10 lead before closing the first half with a flourish by scoring 14 of the final 18 before halftime and trailed by 32-27.

The Tigers pullled even, 42-42, entering the fourth quarter.

Ryan Meadows led Princeton with 22 points and Hunter Walters scored 20.

Arick Nicks scored 15 for the Highlanders. Shaq Miller added 13 and Tavian Dunn-Martin scored 11.

PARKERSBURG 64, SPRING VALLEY 45: Adrian Webster and Trevor Britton scored 15 and 13 respectively to lead Parkersburg (3-6).

Spring Valley (2-5) was led by Jacob Kilgore with 21 points while James Keyser netted 10. Kilgore also had six rebounds.

George Washington (6-2) got 21 points from Luke Eddy to defeat the Knights (3-6).

Keegan Adkins scored 15 for the Knights and Coy Petitt added 14.

Cabell Midland faces Riverside at home Thursday.

Cody Midkiff added 12 points while Tyler Campbell and Kyle Rained had 11 and 10 respectively for Fairland (8-3).

Evan Morris led Rock Hill with 13 points, John Jenkins scored 12 and Austin Collins netted 11.
