Andrew Lester, representing Martha Elementary School and Huntington Elks Lodge 313, was a district winner in the state finals of the Elks National Hoop Shoot Contest.
Lester won in the 8-9 age division and advances to the regional contest March 21 in Middletown, Md.
He is the son of Keri and Tyler Lester of Barboursville and a member of Barboursville Buddy Basketball All-Star team.
