Medical helicopter responds to injury at Tolsia girls game
GLENHAYES, W.Va. -- A medical helicopter was requested Tuesday night to provide services after a female reportedly injured her neck during the Tolsia High School girls basketball game against Lincoln County High School in Wayne.
Wayne County Dispatch 911 reported that a helicopter with HealthNet Aeromedical Services was called for assistance at 8:58 p.m. Tuesday. Dispatch said the helicopter was scheduled to land in the Fort Gay Middle School's football field.
Dispatch could not provide any information on the status of the injured female or whether she was flown from Tolsia High School.
