Soccer league signups under way in Hurricane

TEAYS VALLEY -- Registration is in full swing for the Great Teays Soccer Club's spring season.

The league is open to anyone who is interested. Teams are available for ages 3 to 15.

All registrations will be done at the Quantum Soccer House, located at 3548 Teays Valley Road, Hurricane.

Dates include:

5:30-7:30 p.m. Feb. 27

9-11 a.m. Feb. 28

HURRICANE -- Signups continue for Hurricane Baseball League.

Signups will be held at Hurricane Middle School on the following dates:

Feb. 21, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Feb. 28, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

March 9, 9 a.m. to noon

Church hosts open gym basketball

HURRICANE -- Free open gym basketball is available at the Hurricane Bible Church gym in Hurricane. Open gym will be available to men and boys age 12 and older from 7:30-8:30 p.m. Sundays through March 8.

Church to host Five on Five tourney

HURRICANE -- The Hurrricane Bible Church will hold its annual Five on Five basketball tournament on March 14 at the church's gym.

The tournament is available to adult males and boys ages 12 and older. You may bring your own five-man team, or contact the church for placement on an existing team.
